Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Psychiatry-Clinical Therapy Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 8

Summary

The Clinical Therapist (PRN) will provide psychosocial assessments, individual and family therapy, cognitive supportive therapy, and crisis intervention services to our pediatric patients and families. Will also provide triage services for further mental health interventions. The primary treatment group will include patients, families and/or their caregivers.

This position will serve as a liaison between the department of Psychiatry and other medical specialties to allow for continuity of care. Hours: will vary but prefer someone who can cover 8-5 Monday/Friday and some weekends.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field required.
  • Experience in Family, Individual, Group, and Play therapy required.
  • Experience with crisis intervention.
  • Hospital and Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Education in child growth and development required.
  • LCSW or LPC Licensure in the state of Texas.
  • C.P.R. and CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or must be completed within 60 days of start date.
