Clinical Intern ECHO

Join our team as a day shift, PRN, Echocardiography Lab Clinical Intern in Amarillo, TX. Responsible for performing functions as authorized under the direct supervision of an echocardiography tech. In addition, performs basic echocardiography through TTE’s (trans thoracic echo) scans to include patient care, reporting patient conditions, circumstances, and maintaining equipment and unit cleanliness. The Clinical intern must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. Conditions: May be required to work irregular schedules. Potential exposure to hazardous materials/situations, including but not limited to, blood-borne pathogens, ionizing radiation, and communicable diseases.
