Clinic Care Technician - Psychiatry

Building Location: Building C - Duluth Clinic - 2nd Street Department: 2901200 PSYCHIATRY - EH DC Job Description: Education Qualifications: The Clinic Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the rehab clinic setting. These duties may include greeting and rooming patients, stocking supplies and linens, and cleaning exam room, ordering and maintaining supplies, assisting with clerical duties, and all other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities: Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned Follows up on no-shows and works with providers to review and approve add-ons Greets patients, supports virtual visits, completes identification verification, height, weight and obtains vitals Chaperones exams as needed Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record May perform limited patient care tasks based on training Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes as needed, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls, and may place office supply orders Preferred Qualifications: Customer service skills Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role Experience in healthcare or patient care experience Experience using electronic medical record Medical terminology This position will work the following: 40 hours/week No Weekends 8 Hour Shifts Day Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification/Licensure Requirements: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months FTE: 1 Possible Remote/Hybrid Option: Shift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America) Shift Start Time: 0800 Shift End Time: 1630 Weekends: Holidays: No Call Obligation: No Union: DC USWA Main & Neighborhoods (DCUMN) Union Posting Deadline: 06/5/2026 Compensation Range: $16.82 - $25.05 Employee Benefits at Essentia Health: At Essentia Health, we’re committed to supporting your well-being, growth, and work-life balance.
