FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | 1st Shift - Days Salary: Ranges $19.27 - $26.50 Shift Differentials: $1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm $2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $1.05/hr. extra for working weekends Position Summary The Central Transportation Department CNA 's play a crucial role in the hospital by expediting patient transfers throughout the hospital with care, safety, and efficiency. They ensure each patient is transported comfortably while coordinating closely with care teams. As a vital part of the healthcare team, they foster a supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
Beyond patient transport, they facilitate critical workflows, participate in the Code Team, and serve as a key advocate for patient safety throughout the hospital system. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in this role. What You’ll Do Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNAs and RNs.
Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction. Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care. Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards.
