Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.9 | Full Time | 1st Shift - Days Salary: Ranges $30.09 and up, depending on relative experience Position Summary The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides occupational therapy services to a wide variety of patients, in patient care areas including inpatient, outpatient, and may provide weekend treatment to inpatients (job description addendums may exist for particular positions). Part of providing care includes assessing the educational needs of the patient, family, caregiver or significant other and providing education to meet those needs, communicating with the supervising Occupational Therapist, and with patient, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to promote maximum benefit of care and completing all documentation required to support the services provided and meet organizational, clinical and reimbursement requirements. They also work to provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff, assess the risks for safety, implement appropriate precautions, and comply with appropriate and approved safety standards. Qualifications Education Graduation from a COTA program Ability to adhere to and maintain expertise regarding federal and state regulations and specific carrier requirements Licensure/Certifications COTA: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant through the Oregon Occupational Therapy Licensing Board is required upon start BLS: Basic Life Support certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including: Competitive Pay: Hourly and salaried positions earn market-based compensation.
