Summary

What we offer: ✔ Educational Sponsorship Available This position is located in Devils Lake. It is a Casual position. The Athletic Trainer may work in many different setting including coordinating and providing patient care in the physicians practice, which may include first assistant in surgery.

The Athletic Trainer coordinates the administration of athletic training services at assigned school, venue or events. This position works cooperatively and is actively engaged in the teaching of fellows, residents, athletic trainers, and other student. Essential Job Functions: Assists with patient education involving the whole patient care and treatment plan according to validated skill level.

Performs and functions as a first assistant by demonstrating appropriate skill level of procedures under the supervision of the Orthopedic Physician. Assists student athletes with physician referral and works with providers to return the athlete to play safely. Provides concussion management services utilizing IMPACT testing.

This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
