Trauma Serv Coordinator

Responsible for coordinating and maintaining efficient operations of the Trauma Service Office. Coordinates all Trauma Service functions and related activities of the Trauma Team with established parameters. Provides administrative support to the Trauma Program Director. Requires excellent written/oral communications skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Requires ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a complex environment. Demonstrate knowledge of medical record contents and medical terminology including anatomy and physiology concepts. Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines. Requires ability to solve problems; organizational and planning skills, investigative/analytic skills with detailed orientation. Ability to work under stressful conditions. Ability to tactfully interact with healthcare professionals. Ability to perform heavy lifting, sustained walking, and sitting at a computer for extensive periods of time. Possible exposure to infectious diseases. Flexible working hours required.
