Position Highlights

Hours would be Monday-Friday 8-5, rotating Saturdays 8:30-12, and rotating holidays.

SUMMARY: Responsible for the registration of patients, receptionist duties, and other business office functions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree; one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Understand and follow the policies and procedures of the hospital with particular attention to the individual policies and procedures set up within the business office.
• Accurate and timely registration and scheduling of all patients.
• Provide Customer Service by answering phones, calling, and escorting patients.
• Assist with mailing and banking needs.
• Verify Benefits & Eligibility for patients.
• Scanning of external documents.
• Receive payments via credit cards, check and/or cash.
