Job Summary Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MH Pearland is currently seeking positive and engaged nurses that love working with a family oriented culture. • 4th floor 34 beds. • Caring, Fun, and supportive environment with a strong focus on compassionate and quality patient care. • Non specialized units with a wide variety of patients to care for: Cardiac (CHF, MI, Heart Cath patients), Neuro (stroke, seizures), Diabetes, Surgical (orthopedic, general) and more. • 24 hour hospitalist coverage Full time Day shift, 7a/7p and rotating weekends Job Description Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing Certified in Basic Life Support Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements Experience / Knowledge / Skills: RN I <1 year RN II &#61; 1-3 years RN III &#61; 3-10 years RN IV &#61; 10&#43; years
