Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.

• Required participation in on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Small department with opportunity to work independently

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

OR

• Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Must be eligible for ARRT certification

Preferred

CT certification and/or experience

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS
• Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care

• Support department workflow and coverage needs
