Physical Therapist - Outpatient/Aquatic

Administers medically prescribed physical therapy programs and treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. Directs and supervises employees of the department in the assigned work areas and participates in interdisciplinary care within the department and the hospital. Plans Physical Therapy programs for each patient through evaluation and assessment of patient needs, as prescribed by physicians. Performs essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Evaluates, plans, and coordinates treatments for patients in assigned areas. Directs and supervises activities of assistants and aides in assigned areas and sees that all maintain high standards of professionalism.
