DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Here are some key details regarding this position:

• Schedule: Full-time, 30–40 hours per week, consisting of 3–4 shifts per week (shifts range from 8 to 12 hours in length).
• Location: This is a float position between the Menomonee Falls and Waukesha clinics.
• Availability Requirements: Candidates must be available to work opening and closing shifts as early as 4:00 AM and as late as 9:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
• Weekend Expectations: Every other Saturday is required; no Sunday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
