Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Provides Surgery-Trauma care to patients acting as an assistant to physicians in the hospital following established standards and practices with minimal supervision. 12-hour shifts. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program. Texas Registered Nurse license AND Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse recognition through Texas Board of Nursing or Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Designation or Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant. 3 years Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting or 3 years Professional physician assistance experience in a clinic setting.
