Job Description

Location: Hurst Laboratory and Radiology Services Department: Radiology-Hurst MRI Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 4 Summary: This position is accountable for performing quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. This position is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. Education and Experience: Associates degree required. Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology. 2-3 years MRI experience preferred, pediatric experience is desirable. Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy. Good interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress. Certification/Licensure: Must be ARRT or ARMRIT Certified. If ARRT Certified, must be ARRT (MR) registered, or obtain ARRT (MR) certification within 18 months of hire. Texas licensed Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist. BLS Certified.
