Location Address: 7400 Menaul Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87110 Compensation Pay Range: Minimum Offer $77,563.20 Maximum Offer $118,393.60 Now Hiring: Manager - Point of Care (POC) Lab - PRESNow Summary: We’re seeking a dynamic Point of Care Laboratory Manager to lead multi‑site operations, ensure high‑quality testing, and support a strong, service‑focused team. The POC Laboratory Manager will supervise and coordinate the technical operations at PresNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care facilities to ensure that accurate and timely laboratory services are provided to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Develop and implement policies and procedures for assigned areas. Provide supervision and leadership to the laboratory staff. Work closely with other managers and leaders to coordinate laboratory functions. Oversee assigned cost center budget, making necessary changes to practices as needed. Assist with staff schedules, shift assignments, team duties and overall workflow of laboratory processes. Work as a staff employee when necessary to perform testing. Ensure all regulatory, licensing and accreditation requirements are fulfilled for assigned areas. Perform all assigned duties in a caring and professional manner to serve as a model to create an environment where the patient and the customer are of primary importance. Travel between sites as needed and on a regular schedule.

Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: Yes Job is based: PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care - Uptown Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: Lead Operations — Oversee daily technical operations across multiple lab sites. Ensure Quality — Maintain accurate, timely testing and proper specimen handling. Support Testing — Oversee moderate‑ to high‑complexity testing across major disciplines. Manage Instruments — Oversee analyzer operation, maintenance, and evaluation. Maintain Compliance — Ensure CLIA, CAP, safety, and QC standards are met. Improve Processes — Drive workflow, service, and quality improvements. Lead People — Manage hiring, training, competencies, and performance. Develop Teams — Support staff growth and ongoing education. Manage Resources — Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and supply management. Collaborate — Partner with leadership, medical directors, and external organizations. Uphold Standards — Ensure adherence to policies, safety, HIPAA, and organizational values. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Administration degree required. Point of care, waived/nonwaived, and moderate complexity testing experience required, as well as laboratory specimen handling and testing experience. Two years of leadership experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting. Competence in phlebotomy preferred; must demonstrate effective communication skills, team-orientation, multi-tasking capability, organization, time management, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good analytical skills. Ability to be on call as needed or required, address needs remotely or in person on nights, weekends, holidays as needed.
