As Manager of Nursing and Clinical Education, you will lead innovative education strategies, elevate clinical practice, and empower teams across the continuum of care. In this role, you will lead and oversee the Nursing Professional Development team and simulation function, delivering high quality education, training, and growth opportunities across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. You will ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices to advance clinical excellence and workforce readiness across the continuum of care. If you are a forward thinking leader who thrives on collaboration, drives change, and is passionate about developing others, we invite you to bring your vision and make a lasting impact. # What you will do! ### #Lead, mentor, and manage#staff across diverse areas including but not limited to ambulatory care, simulation training, clinical education, and certification coordination ### #Develop, implement, and evaluate#comprehensive educational programs and professional development initiatives that enhance nursing practice and patient care outcomes ### #Collaborate#with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to assess learning needs and identify opportunities for staff development ### #Oversee#simulation-based education activities, ensuring fidelity to clinical scenarios and best practices in adult learning ### #Manage#performance, professional growth, and development through coaching, feedback, and evaluation ### #Facilitate#resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to optimize operations ### #Utilitie data and feedback to continuously improve educational programs and professional development strategies ### #Promote#a culture of lifelong learning, professional growth, and evidence-based practice within the nursing workforce ### #Serve#as a key liaison between nursing leadership, education, and other departments to support integrated workforce development Our ideal candidate will posess:# ### #State of Idaho Registered Nurse OR licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the #multistate privilege to practice# compact with Idaho prior to start date ### #Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program required ### #BSN required; MSN preferred ### #Minimum 4 years# nursing experience required; direct patient care experience preferred ### #Minimum 3 years# leadership experience required ### #Specialty nursing certification preferred ### #Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills ### #Ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders ### #Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously # Working Conditions ### #Exposure to needles, blood and body fluids, etc. ### #Must be able to assist in patient transfer ### #Must be able to maintain a standing position ### #Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height ### #Typical equipment used in a clinical job ### #Must be able to lift or move up to 10 lbs# # About Kootenai Health: Kootenai Health is a highly esteemed healthcare organization serving patients throughout northern Idaho and the Inland Northwest.
