Manager, Financial Reporting
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Manager of Financial Reporting oversees certain areas of accounting and is involved in the company’s internal and SEC reporting. This leader works closely with senior leaders within accounting and other disciplines to ensure projects and reporting objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita’s Mission and Core Values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Perform accounting over key areas such as debt, investments, statement of cash flows, and other areas as assigned
- Responsible for the preparation of internal financial package
- Responsible for system consolidation and SME in our financial reporting systems
- Participate in our ESG working group and ESG reporting
- Participate in the preparation of the annual report on Form 10-K and quarterly reports on Form 10-Q, and other SEC reports and requirements
- Interact with the external audit partner and managers on various items that arise on the audit
- Responsible for the adequacy of documentation and review of internal controls and compliance with SOX 404 for all related processes
- Participate in other processes as needed to ensure proper disclosures of all material items in the Company’s SEC reports
- Lead and develop team through discussions, analysis and by conducting training
- Perform account reconciliation oversight reviews for all general ledger accounts under your responsibility
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
- Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
Is any travel required? Â Up to 5%
Hybrid work model - Tues/Wed in-office, other three days remote if desired
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum of 5-6 years at a publicly traded company with applicable experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP required
- CPA highly preferred
- Experience leading, training, and developing teams
- Advanced level computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate proficiency with MS Word and Outlook required; intermediate proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, Essbase or other database accounting systems strongly preferred
- Workiva experience preferred
- Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.
The Salary Range for the role is $104,000.00Â -Â $150,000.00 per year.
If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hourFor location-specific minimum wage details, see the following link: DaVita.jobs/WageRates
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
