Summary

In this role, you will assist with food preparation, support efficient meal service, and help maintain a clean and sanitary environment that promotes the health and well-being of our patients and residents.

Type of Opportunity: Full time Job Exempt: No Job is based: Plains Regional Medical Center Work Shift: 10 Hour Days (United States of America)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food according to standardized recipes and established procedures.
  • Support timely and efficient meal service while ensuring quality and portion standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and food service spaces in accordance with food safety regulations and organizational standards.
  • Monitor and document daily records, including patient/resident meals, cafeteria meals, special events , and food temperatures.
  • Operate a variety of food service and kitchen equipment safely and effectively Follow food handling, safety, and infection prevention guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent service and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • No formal education required .
  • Prior experience in food service is helpful but not required ; candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
