Diagnostic Aide

Under the supervision of x-ray technologists, the Diagnostic Aide will assist in patient care, clerical # transport duties. # I.############# Qualifications: # ########### A.####### Education: ####################### High school diploma or equivalent required.# Acceptance to accredited radiology program preferred. # ########### B.####### Training and Experience: # ####################### Previous hospital experience is helpful.# Current BLS certification. # C.####### Job Knowledge: # PACS/RIS computer equipment, CR equipment, transport equipment, proper transportation techniques. Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions: A. Required to lift and transfer patients for transportation and treatment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as push patients in wheelchairs/beds/stretchers with accompanying medical devices. B. Possible exposure to infectious diseases and radiation.
