Pay rate range $18.00-$23.00 per hour depending on years of experience! Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Part-time Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Lansing Correctional Facility located in Lansing, Kansas.

The Certified Medication Aide (Medical) (CMA) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The CMA takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living. The CMA must monitor patients to report changes in their conditions.

Shift: 1-9:30pm Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification or ability to obtain one required • Must have graduated from a Medication Aide training program and have a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive
