Summary:
Responsible for the financial reconciliation, GAAP accounting, internal and external reporting for Capital purchases and Work-In-Process projects for multiple entities of the health system.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years accounting experience required, preferably in public accounting or in a healthcare setting.
- Advanced computer spreadsheet proficiency including graphing and complex formulas often linking multiple worksheets (very high level of usage), general software literacy, trending, and "what if" skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills, including advance slide and chart preparation for Power Point.
- Must be able to present themselves in a professional manner and appearance, and communicate in a clear and effective fashion.
- The evaluation of this position will come from the Accounting Manager but may be influenced by the AVP Corporate Controller and the Senior Vice President as deemed appropriate.
Certification/Licensure:
- CPA or MBA required, or 10+ years related experience.
