### Job Description:

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:**
- Current unencumbered licensure with the appropriate state board based on physical work location, as a registered professional nurse OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Certification in Basic Life Support upon hire.
- State criminal background check, and federal, if applicable, as required for state department of health (e.g. PA DOH, OH DOH, MD DOH, WV DHHR) regulated areas based on physical work location.
- **Experience:**
- 18 months of clinical experience working as a Registered Nurse (RN).

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or completion of BSN within 5 years of date of hire.

### Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use competent clinical practice and critical thinking skills to efficiently deliver patient care.
- Possess interpersonal skills to communicate, negotiate, and resolve conflict.
- Motivation and drive for continuous development of self.
- Cooperatively interact with the health care team to support and contribute to shared group goals.
- Provide direct patient care within a designated shift, based on the nursing process and within role/scope of practice.
- Implement appropriate clinical decisions and demonstrate appropriate use of expert peers and/or management.
- Initiate actions to correct, reduce and/or prevent risk based on data indicating commonly occurring risks to patient health status.
- Provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care including assessment, expected outcomes, nursing interventions and evaluation within an interdisciplinary team approach.
- Negotiate patient care tasks with family/patient within safe practice guidelines.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of standards, effective use of resources, and evaluation of patient response in the delivery of patient care.
- Use standards of care and standards of practice to guide care delivery.
- Engage in mentoring and networking activities to promote professional development.

### Physical Requirements:
- Minimize the need for employees to manually lift patients, and limit safe patient handling to 35 pounds.
- Heavy/Hard work: Work requires strength and/or stamina, lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and carrying of materials and equipment weighing 40+lbs.

### Working Environment:
- Working closely with others.
- Working protracted or irregular hours.
- Working around biohazards and infectious diseases.
- Travel will be required of this position.
