Position Highlights

Position Summary:

The Transcription Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily transcription operations for inpatient, outpatient and clinic settings.  This role ensures the timely, accurate, and compliant transcription of medical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and provider expectations.  The supervisor provides leadership to transcription staff, manages workflows, and supports quality improvement initiatives.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8-5

Education/Experience:

Associate degree in Health Information Management, Medical Transcription, or related field required

Minimum of 3–5 years of medical transcription experience in hospital and clinic settings

Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred

Licensure/Certification:

RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent credential preferred
