Nurse Intern 2 - Nursing Education

Assists professional nursing staff by performing specific patient care tasks, within the scope of practice for Nurse Intern. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of 2nd semester of nursing (or its equivalent), and enrollment in 3rd or 4th semester of nursing at an accredited college or university. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association upon hire or transfer to department. Completion of competencies including Nursing Process elements, Unit Orientation, Unit Safety, and effective time management skills.
