A Brief Overview
Responsible for the day to day operation of the store, including all aspects of customer service, inventory control, staff supervision, and other management responsibilities.​
What you will do
- Overall, responsible and accountable for the ongoing operations of the site, to include planning, organizing, inventory management and day to day operations.
- In collaboration with the leadership team, responsible for the development and implementation of the annual operational plan for the location.
- Incorporates input from staff, customers, and the leadership team.
- Takes initiative to research and solve operational problems and designs methods and procedures to improve the efficiency and productivity of site operations.
- In collaboration with the Avera@Home leadership, assists in the preparation of the annual financial budget to include projected revenues and expenses.
- Works within the approved budget and substantiates any variances.
- In collaboration with the leadership team, assures the implementation of policies, procedures and protocols; competency based orientation; annual competencies; continuing education and patient education.
- Monitors, analyzes, and interprets monthly reports. Develops action plans to address negative variances.
- In collaboration with the leadership team, is responsible for the collection, analysis, and maintenance of data as by performance improvement, risk management, OSHA, FDA, DOT, and other state/federal guidelines.
- As a member of the leadership team, serves as a role model of the leadership principles resulting in positive communication and problem solving. Participates in state, regional, and national industry activities, maintaining a positive relationship with peers from across the HME network. Assists with sales and rentals of equipment, set-up, and education to customers, training of staff and referral sources, documentation, reimbursement verification, follow-up, and any related duties as required. Responsible for maintaining a well-organized retail and storage area that reflects the company's standard for excellence. Responsible for overseeing efficient, timely deliveries by delivery/clinical staff.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's from a four- college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Drivers License - Licensing Board A valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier. Upon Hire
