A Brief Overview
Serves as the Organizational Excellence liaison to executive sponsors, system leaders, service line leaders, business unit leaders and operations teams for continuous improvement activities and principles. Leads multiple operations teams to design, implement, and sustain systems that improve quality, safety, efficiency, productivity and reduce costs. Coordinates communication, training, facilitation and coaching of leaders and teams as continuous improvement systems are implemented and sustained; keeps current of industry best practices and recommends as appropriate.
What you will do
- Develop, manage, and monitor plans for multiple interconnected projects, delineating scope, responsibilities, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and team selection.
- Recommend suitable strategies and objectives for projects within a service line or operational strategy.
- Plan and deliver training on continuous improvement activities and principles for system, service line, and business unit leaders, and operations teams.
- Coach leaders and operations teams in Lean and DMAIC principles and organizational continuous improvement strategies.
- Manage operations teams conducting in-depth analysis of processes within service lines, business units, and operational departments.
- Lead teams to design, implement, and sustain improvements that enhance quality, safety, efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
- Apply change, risk, and resource management practices across multiple projects.
- Consult with senior executives, service line leaders, business unit leaders, operations leaders, and Organizational Excellence to secure resources, resolve project needs, coordinate cross-project activities, calculate financial benefits, and support organizational continuous improvement.
- Monitor and summarize project progress; prepare status reports for senior executives, leaders, stakeholders, and frontline staff.
- Facilitate preparation and delivery of presentations and materials to communicate findings, proposed solutions, and results to leadership and frontline teams.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Respiratory Therapist - Licensing Board active in state of practice or
- Physical Therapist - Licensing Board active in state of practice or
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing active in state of practice or
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) active in state of practice or
- IASSC Certified Green Belt - The International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) within 1 Year or
- Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
- 1-3 years of Continuous Improvement related experience.
