Fargo Distribution Serv Center Department: 1006230 CODING QUALITY AND DENIALS - EH SS Job Description: Responsible for analyzing problematic charges or accounts to determine if there are coding issues that prevent the successful processing of insurance claims. Works with staff to assure accurate, timely resolution of coding issues. Uses ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding and billing knowledge, and awareness of state and federal billing regulations, to recommend and assist in implementing methods for improving coding, billing, and denials management processes.
Responsible for, analyzing data, working work queues, and reporting outcomes. Upon request, performs special projects related to coding, denials or billing. Work Experience: 2 years experience coding with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS.

- Associate degree in health information management, healthcare, business or related field of study. Required
