Qualifications Graduate of an accredited course Surgical Technician Certification (CST) is preferred at time of employment. Certification is required within 6-months of employment. At least 2-3 years of acute care hospital-based operating room experience. At least 2-3 years of experience in Ortho, Neuro, General Surgery, Spine & Robotics. Must have knowledge of principles and procedures related to surgery. Current BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
