Summary

The Building Engineer (Off-Campus Properties) is responsible for working directly with the Building Engineer Supervisor and the Real Estate Department in implementing the energy management, preventive maintenance, quality standards, and operating objectives of all off-campus properties. Education & Experience: High School Diploma 3 years of relevant property and building maintenance experience. Education in lieu of a portion of experience may be considered.

Working knowledge of various building mechanical systems. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral of diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and h ear.
