Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) and is located in Townsville at the Kirwan campus. • Multiple positions, non-standard hours Nurse Grade 1, Band 1 and Nurse Grade 1, Band 2Casual rates: $44.02 to $48.20 p.h.
• (NG1-1)Casual rates: $47.64 to $49.03 p.h.
• (NG1-2)About your opportunity:The AIN is responsible for providing nursing care in a professional, safe and compassionate manner as a member of Eventide team.
• The AIN works under the direction of the of the Registered Nurse and this may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse to assist in achieving service goals.

Requirements

• Highly Desirable: Applicants who meet one of the following criteria are considered highly desirable:Hold a relevant Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent, orSuccessful completion of the first semester full-time equivalent Diploma of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies, orSuccessful completion of the first year full-time equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competenciesThis is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including Aged Care Pre-Employment Checks and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) checks.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.Apply now and be part of something extraordinary!
